Desktop repairs are commonplace at Ace Computing, when we say desktop or PC we are referring to anything that falls into the tower category, so weather you have a small form factor mini tower, a standard size tower or even an iMac we are used to seeing them in our weekly intake of computer repairs.

We specialise in all in ones and Apple iMac repairs, these units are more a bit more complex and a more Involved repair even for low level upgrades such as a hard drive replacement or RAM upgrades the screen has to be removed

To access the Motherboard and complete the repair, what this means for you is that we may need to hold on to your PC for a bit longer so instead of a same day repair it may be a 3 day turnaround on your unit.

The definition of a PC is obviously Personal Computer but sometimes you may hear them being called a desktop or Tower but no matter what type of unit you have we are all set up for you at the shop we have all the necessary cables and screens etc all ready and setup on our testbed meaning when you bring your unit down to us, you only need to bring the unit down so you can leave all existing cables and monitors in place for easy fitting when you bring your freshly tuned and repaired unit home.

There is an alternate option Ace Computing can offer our call out service which is ideal for businesses and residential customers, the big plus here is we can see the fault in its home environment and the diagnosis is easier being able to see what could be causing the problem and any network or internet issues can be found and fixed on the spot.
